Love wildlife? Adore coloured pencils? But when it comes to drawing realistic animals, it all feels… a bit out of reach? You’re not alone. Whether you’re new to drawing, coming back to it after years away, or just tired of half-finished pieces that never look quite right — Coloured Pencil Week is here to change all that.
You came for the pencils... but you'll stay for the spark you thought you’d lost.
You’ll go from “I’m not creative” to “I did that?!”
And yes… all this is possible in just 7 days - and it's just £10 - yep really!
Absolutely – if any of these sound familiar...
"I'd love to be able to draw, but have always thought I wasn’t good enough."
01
“I love drawing animals but I always get stuck on fur or eyes.”
02
“I’ve followed Bonny for ages but never felt ‘good enough’ to join.”
03
“I want to be part of a kind, supportive art community.”
04
“I never seem to finish what I start… maybe this time I will?”
05
“I just want to feel excited about drawing again.”

Draw along with Bonny as you bring a hare, an owl, and a fawn to life — one stroke at a time.
Before each live session, you’ll get setup support: proportions, colour picks, scaling tips and techniques to build your confidence.
This isn’t just a drawing week – it’s a creative reset. For less than the cost of a takeaway, you’ll get expert-led tutorials, real-time feedback, and a whole bunch of new drawing confidence.
No judgement. No pressure. Just hundreds of lovely folks cheering you on as you rediscover your creativity.
This isn’t just a week of tutorials — it’s a full creative experience. Each day is carefully designed to build your confidence, layer by layer, stroke by stroke. We kick things off gently, so you’ve got space to breathe, prepare, and feel ready. Then we dive into the magic of drawing together.
Before all the drawing begins, we’ll ease in with a relaxed welcome session. I’ll talk you through tools, techniques, mindset, and how to make the most of your week. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress — and enjoying every second of it.
Soft fur. Soulful eyes. Expressive ears. In our first live drawing, we’ll bring this beautiful hare to life. I’ll guide you through how to build believable fur textures, use layering for depth, and capture that spark of personality.
Before the live session, you’ll get a prep tutorial to help with proportions, colour picks, and scaling.
Now we’re taking things up a notch. From fluffy feathers to delicate colour shifts, you’ll learn how to draw textures that make your owl feel like it might just take flight. We’ll cover feather structure, soft blends, and how to make eyes pop.
Don’t worry — the pre-prep video has you covered on setup so you feel ready to go.
Time to finish strong. We’ll focus on soft baby fur, those big gentle eyes, and the kind of shading that adds dimension and softness all at once.
It’s a beautiful, rewarding piece — and you’ll be amazed at how far you’ve come by now.
We’ll come together to reflect, share, and celebrate your wins — big or small. I’ll also show you how you can keep that creative momentum going and continue your journey after Coloured Pencil Week ends.

It’s not just about drawing fur or following along with a tutorial. It’s about saying: I’m allowed to create.
It’s about discovering that you don’t have to be “good” to enjoy it.
It’s about gently proving to yourself that you are capable—and that it’s never too late to begin.
This is more than pencils. This is permission. This is play.
This is you—finally taking a moment for yourself, and loving every second of it.
As an award-winning expert Coloured Pencil Artist and mentor based in North Yorkshire, I've discovered that everything you've ever wanted can be found with a pencil in your hand. I've developed the Evolve method to transform not just your drawings, but your entire approach to art and creativity.
No worries at all! When you sign up for your ticket, you’ll get access to a private hub where you’ll access the tutorials each day throughout Coloured Pencil Week (May 9-16).
All live tutorial replays will be added to this hub, and you’ll get extended access to watch them until the end of May 2025.
This means you’ll have plenty of time to catch up and take part on your schedule.
Want longer access? I’ve got you! If you decide to join Ignite (my monthly coloured pencil membership), you’ll keep full access to all the Coloured Pencil Week recordings for as long as you’re a member!
Our live sessions will start at 7pm UK time Friday, Tuesday and Thursday, and 4pm UK time Sunday (check what that converts to in your time zone here.)
That time is friendly for our community in the US, UK, Australia, and beyond. Live sessions usually run in the evening UK time, so they’re easy to join whether you're in the UK, US, Australia or beyond.
You’ll see the full schedule in your calendar once you sign up.
To help you prepare in advance, I’ll provide you with a detailed list of all materials I’m using and similar alternatives. If you would like to buy the exact colours I’m using, you can get those in advance using this handy list.
However, I encourage you to draw with what you have in your current collection. Please don’t panic — you absolutely do not need to rush out and buy new pencils!
The most important thing is that you draw with what you have. I’ll guide you through colour selections, and you can substitute with similar shades from your own set.
